Screw elements are the key working parts for twin screw extruder which tremendously affect the quality and output of final plastic products. The high quality screw elements can improve a better performance of mixing, shearing, spreading and reacting among plastic molecules, as well as reduce the frequency of replacing the machine parts to control your production costs.
Screw Elements are divided into conveying thread components, shearing thread components, and special thread components.
(1) The conveying threaded components include: forward conveying threaded components and reverse conveying threaded components.
(2) Shear threaded component: mainly refers to the kneading block, which provides high shear force and has the ability to distribute and disperse mixing. It is always used in pairs or in series. Common parameters include 30 °, 45 °, 60 °, and 90 °. Different parameters have different functions and effects.
(3) Special threaded components: TME, ZME, SF, SK, single piece kneading blocks, et.
